MY LOVE FOR THE ECO-FRIENDLY HAIR ACCESSORY THE INVISIBOBBLE: REVIEW

The only bad thing I have to say: the box is tricky to get in. Now that's over lets talk about all the good things to do with this very underestimated accessory! Honestly, I was intrigued but I didn't have much hope, to me it was just a gimmick to get girls like me to invest and within the first couple of uses will snap into pieces. Oh. How. Wrong. Was. I?

I have moderately thick hair that only allows thick bobbles to hold it up so I was initially worried that this would slip out within an instant but if I'm completely honest (trust me on this one) Invisibobbles are probably even better than the material ones we are all used to. They hold up my difficult-at-times hair just as well at any angle - I wasn't sure whether it'll work with a high pony, but work it does. They look surprisingly neat and tidy to think of the shape and with the transparent shade (above) it really is (slightly) invisible. It holds true to it's words and does not cause any kinks to the hair once it is let free of the bobble. I have had these since Thursday now and I haven't used a 'normal' bobble since, and that is the complete and honest truth.

Used invisibobble and un-used invisibobble - not much difference in size.
I was worried that once used it a couple of times that it will stretch and would be less useful more and more times I use it. And yes, it does stretch but it does shrink back down - I take it out a night and it's stretched but by the morning it has gone back down to just slightly bigger to the size it originally was. The bobble holds just as good now as it did the first time I used it. It can sometimes get tangled in itself but its easy to just twist it back to place - and anyway, the 'mis-shaping' of the bobble doesn't affect the actual use of the accessory.

I have been after this product for a while and it was on my July wishlist and even though I had my worries, I definitely am not disappointed - anything but! One pack comes with three bobbles and so far, I have only used one and I am very happy with the one I am using and don't feel the need to use another just yet (I'll let you know when I do!). And yet another upside is that it is eco-friendly - it's RECYCLABLE so everybody wins!

The only thing is, is that I haven't been brave enough to try a bun with Invisisbobbles, but I'll let you know how that one goes when the time does come!

  1. I tend to feel like these hair ties lack the grip that normal ones have and it comes loose quite quickly
