JULY WISHLIST: BEAUTY

For ages, I have been sulking over fabulous products that I can't afford to buy but thankfully I am working for the summer and am no longer a poor student (for these next couple of months, anyway). I have seen other beauty bloggers brag about the new releases and gorgeous products and if I'm completely honest - I'm very jealous. But it's no good sulking over what I don't have but look forward to what I could have and these items are the things at the top of my list.

Invisibobble (purchased): This was a tricky decision. There is a lot of talk about them and many opinions flying about all over the place and if I'm honest, I am a bit sceptical - but what kind of beauty blogger will I be if I don't give them a go? As someone who wears her hair up day-in day-out I am hoping that these are good! Today, I have actually ordered this product but in the transparent shade and hopefully, if they're good, I'll splash out on the other colours too - the pink seems intriguing!

Soap & Glory Trick and Treatment Under-Eye Concealer: For the past year or so my trusty concealer has been Soap & Glory's Kick Ass Concealer and I have loved it (more on that one soon)! However, I now want to try a liquid concealer as I want to see the difference between liquid and cream concealers and this under-eye concealer looks like a perfect match for me. I am in love with Soap & Glory's makeup range and I feel that there is no point in using a normal concealer, if you're not going to get an under-eye one too. Excited for this one!

bareMinerals Prime Time Foundation Primer (purchased): It wasn't until recently that I found out how sensitive my skin is - red patches and sore skin isn't brilliant. I've been reading up on it nothing has really helped until the August issue of Cosmopolitan UK. I saw a similar thing and they recommended primer - honestly, I haven't really thought of buying a primer before, but I now realise that in the makeup world, no primer is a big no no! So I have been surfing various beauty stores looking for the best primer and I came across bareMinerals - as the name suggests, all of the brands products contain minerals, an ingredient which cares and protects our skin. Primer not only helps make up stay on for longer, but Prime Time has SPF 15 - sun safety is very important. This product is on it's way to my doorstep as we speak and I am very excited to try this out - blog post will be coming soon!

Benefit Lemon Aid Eyelid Primer: I have been noticing for a while that sometimes, my eyelids can look slightly discoloured. I thought this was just the way it is and that there was nothing I could do about it, but how wrong was I? Benefit have noticed the same problem and have produce a lemon shaded primer to battle the problem... That's all I need to say - I'm sold!

Smashbox It's A Wrap Makeup Remover: Smashbox has always been a brand that I have wanted to try and this makeup remover looks like the perfect product for me to start. I am a avid user of  makeup wipes but I know that using them everyday isn't brilliant for your skin. It's meant to be "super effective, yet ultra-gentle" and is meant to take off even waterproof makeup easily.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: Now, before writing this blog, I was never one for buying expensive beauty products, but as you can see above, that has now changed - I now actually believe in the phrase "You get what you pay for". However, Maybelline has always been a brand that I have used and trusted and concealer is something that is used in small portions, so taking both of those points into consideration, Fit Me Concealer looks like a perfect fit (see what I did there?).

Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs: Unfortunately, perfume from Marc Jacobs is something that I haven't been fortunate to own, but I been lucky enough to steal some of my mum's! The original Daisy perfume is something that I always used to grab on special occasions, but now I want my own and if the reviews that I have a right, Daisy Dream is meant to be 10 times better. Definitely one for the wishlist!
