MAYBELLINE NEW YORK DREAM SUN TRIPLE BRONZING POWDER: BEAUTY REVIEW - BRILLIANT FOR PALE SKIN

It's summer time which means that we all want to look as brown as possible. But for those of you who are unlucky enough too not go on holiday (or who don't tan brilliantly), that could be quite hard - along comes the bronzer. If you're a regular reader of Beauty High Street, you may know that my skin is very pale so finding a bronzer that's not 'too' bronze it quite a mission!

That's where Maybelline New York Dream Sun Triple Bronzing Powder comes in. It has three shades ranging from light to dark and depending on your skin colour there is at least one shade that will suit your skin tone. The colour I bought was '01 Blonde' - people who have naturally blonde hair usually have very fair skin, meaning that any shade of face product labelled 'for blondes' means that it is usually lighter than any other shade.

Many one shaded bronzers - and double shaded bronzers - are too harsh for my pale skin. I understand that the concept of using a bronzer is to look bronze but looking like a satsuma is not as attractive as I'd hoped.

I tend to use the first two shades of the palette the most, especially for casual makeup. However, when I am going on a night out or somewhere that I 'dress to impress', I do use a (really tiny) bit of the darker shade, just to give me that little more bronzed-tone. The hardest part of putting on bronzer is knowing the line between looking bronze and looking orange, however this Triple Bronzing Powder makes it that little bit easier!

There is a shiny bit of a shimmer when it is applied to my skin - it's not glittery or shiny, but it just adds that little extra something to the look.

This product is perfect for pale-skinned people like myself, and obviously blondes! If you're darker skinned then don;t be put off, there are darker tones in this product and it really is a brilliant bronzer, especially for such a low price! Let me know if you have tried this product and what you thought. Also, let me know what your favourite bronzers are.
