Alberto VO5 Smoothly Does It Tame & Shine Spray beauty review

Using heat styling tools day in, day out can majorly affect your hair, it can cause it to become dry, damaged and have a straw-like texture. Everyone, no matter what their hair type is, should always use heat defence protective products before applying heat on to their hair - there are all kinds of different products that protects hair against heat whether it's shampoo and conditioner, styling spray or just a cream or spray made especially for hair protection.

I have used VO5 Smoothly Does It Tame & Shine Spray for a while now because not only does it protect my hair from getting damaged from my straightening irons, but it also makes my hair smooth, de-frizzed and manageable.

My hair is naturally frizzy, and even though I like volume in my hair, sometimes the frizz is too much and starts to looks like a lions mane. However, although this spray takes away frizz it doesn't take all the volume out of my hair, and one reason for that may be that I don't spray much near the roots of my hair (which holds the volume).

Directions: Like most of you already do, separate some of your hair into sections - and clip up the rest - before straightening. Make sure that you spray each section from just below the roots to the ends, making sure that you spray each section as you go along.

If you have thick and frizzy hair like me, do not spray all over the hair once expecting the spray to de-frizz, smooth and protect all over... it won't, so make sure you do it in sections.

Have you got this product? If so what do you think of it? And what hair tips do you have? Please comment below.
