Before this year it was very rare that I wore perfume, I was given loads of celebrity branded fragrance sets for Christmas' and birthdays' but for some reason I just didn't seem to use them. It wasn't until to started to pay more attention to the perfumes that my friends and family were wearing that I realised that I should jump on the bandwagon. I went to The Fragrance Shop one day and spent a while smelling fragrance after fragrance as I wasn't too sure what I wanted; something sweet, fruity, classy, subtle... I wasn't sure at all.
After realising I was having some trouble, the man behind the counter picked Ralph Lauren Big Pony 2 for me to try. The smell was strong and sweet, and after trying other perfumes such as Mark Jacobs Honey (which was lovely, by the way) and Kate Moss' new perfume, I immediately feel in love with this one.
It was quite a unique fragrance and I liked how fresh it was. All it gave was a quick squirt on my wrists and neck and I could smell it hours after leaving the shop. I was given this as a present from my parents on Christmas day and I have worn it every day since - and I have been complimented on my fragrance! As it is a strong scent, I can smell it on myself throughout the whole day which means that I don't have to keep putting it on over and over in the day.
It is strange what a little perfume can do, as I now feel more confident and also more 'girly'.
