Soap & Glory Heel Genius

As you all know it has just been Christmas which means that I have a lot of bath, body and hair products, as well as a lot of nail stuff and makeup. All of this stuff has lead me to my 2014 New Years resolution - "make more time for pampering myself" and to "use all of the stuff I have been given for Christmas this year". Every year, I always get given body and bath stuff for Christmas but always end up throwing it out the next year, but that's not going to happen in 2014. Not that now I have found a big love in The Body Shop and Soap & Glory.

I have also realised that I have been missing out on a lot as I rarely used to pamper myself, i.e. moisturise, paint my nails, exfoliate, use perfume, and throughout 2013 I have been doing all of this stuff more and more and I have felt a lot better about myself. Make this a note to all of you 'non-pamperers' out there!

So after being ill for the past couple of days, today has finally been the day that I can properly use all of my Christmas gifts and have a proper girly pamper day - just what the doctor ordered! I have never used any Soap & Glory bath and body products before - I love their makeup range though - but my sisters and my mum have all said that they love the stuff, so when I was given a huge Soap & Glory set for Xmas, this was my chance to build the same loving relationship with this brand as the rest of my family.

One Soap & Glory product that I have always been intrigued in using was their foot cream 'heel genius' as my feet need more looking after than they get. Today was the first day that I have used it and I'll tell you what, I l-o-v-e the stuff! Straight after applying the cream to one foot I could see and feel a massive change and the difference between my two feet (one which I had supplied the cream and the other which was cream-less) was unbelievable. You could see no dry skin, my heel was as soft as a baby's bottom and smelt so fresh.

Whilst applying the cream I massaged it into my skin, pushing my thumbs into my heel and gliding them up to the balls of my feet. Soon after both of my feet were moisturised, I gave my self a nice pedicure (which toe separators of course) and made sure that my feet were slipper and sock-free for at least an hour, to make sure that the moisture kept and wasn't rubbed off.

As it came in a box set, the cream I have at the moment is only a 50ml bottle, but I have already put another, bigger bottle of this stuff on my shopping list as I plan to use this every day. I will definitely not be going back to having no foot pamper routine.
