L'OREAL PARIS INFALLIBLE MATTIFYING PRIMER BASE

In the past couple of years I have tried quite a few primers, none of which I have gone back to or bought again. I've always tried to find the perfect primer but never seemed to have found it. I've even tried Benefit's Pore Professional - a primer that I've heard amazing reviews of - and it was good, but not good enough to spend another £20-odd every time I run out.



On a whim, I bought L'oreal's Infallible Mattifying Base Primer - you all know how much I love L'Oreal. Straight away, the name got me. MATTIFYING base. I love the matte look - no shine or 'plastic' look. And it definitely does what it says on the tin - since first using this product, I have had several comments from people asking if I've changed any of my makeup products as my skin looks a lot better.

I can honestly say that I have never known a product to make my skin feel as soft as this primer and that feeling lasts all day. You only need one small pump for each cheek and then another for the forehead. One of the main things I look for in a primer is how long my makeup lasts with it on and although some other primers have also kept my makeup looking fresh for most of the day, this one not only does that, but it also has all of the aspects that primers should have - mattifying, creating a smooth base and so much more.

As I love this Infallible Primer so much, I have branched out to other products in L'Oreals Infallible range - foundation, translucent powder and setting spray. I'm still in the early stages of trying these out at the moment but watch this space.
