CLINQUE SUPERBALM MOISTURISING GLOSS REVIEW

Having months of not posting seems to be a running theme on my blog at the moment, but I am pleased to say that I now have tonnes of spare time which I will dedicate to blogging. With finishing my degree and getting a full time job as a Social Media Coordinator, it means that my evening and weekends haven't got much in store for me - which means blogging, so expect a lot more content uploaded from me! Now that's said and done, let's get on with the rest of my post...

I don't feature many lip products on my blog, especially lip colours like lipstick, and that's purely down to the fact that I'm not a big fan of lip colours *queue hundreds of bloggers shouting "really?!"*. As much as I wished they did, they really don't suit me. One type of lip product I can just about get away with are lip glosses.

About a year ago I got a small Clinique Superbalm Moisturising Gloss teaser in a magazine and I fell in love with it immediately. Not only was it true to its word and made my lips feel really moisturised, it was a colour I could get on with and it lasted a lifetime! I have been using it ever since and I even looked it up online as I wanted the larger version - for me, that's when you know I really like a product. I never normally buy a product which I got in a magazine, I usually use it once and chuck it at the back of a draw! When I looked it up and I found that it was £16 - to my horror, as I was at university at the time and mastered the trick of making a tenner last a week.

Now, as I said above, I am a fully grow adult and have money to spend *does a little dance*. Along with my usual makeup and clothes I have been eyeing up for ages, this superbalm was high on my list of things to buy with my first pay cheque. I'm usually bit funny when it comes to miniature products as I usually find that there is a difference in the quality between the bigger and smaller products, so I was a little bit weary. The colour I bought was 'grapefruit' and was the same colour as the free one I had. When the two glosses are next to each other, there is a slightly difference in the colour of the gloss in the tube, but thankfully it looks the same when it's on my lips. The quality of the product is still the same and it was definitely worth the £16! As it is a much bigger tube, I am expecting this to last a long time which makes me even more happier - who likes replacing makeup every couple of weeks?

Have you tried Clinique's Superbalm Moisturising Gloss? Make sure you let me know what you think in the comments!
